Application Support Engineer / .Net Support
TSD is looking to hire an Application Support Engineer who will be part of a world-wide acting conglomerate in the financial industry.
Get acquainted with both the Production and Non-Production environments of the client. Perform daily checks to ensure their availability.
Work directly with users to troubleshoot and support incidents regarding application and system outages.
Track all work through the centralized ticket tracking system.
Cooperate with Developers and QAs to ensure timely completion of each cycle from the client’s workflow.
Perform ad hoc requests from users for file regarding configuration of the non-production environments and applications.
Perform maintenance tasks and changes to the Production environments, following an internal change process.
Work with other IT groups during maintenance to ensure minimum impact on production processes.
Escalate potential Production issues to the proper parties in a timely manner to avoid business outages.
Minimum two (2) years of experience with Microsoft based environments (Windows Server 2008 or higher).
Minimum one (1) year of MSSQL experience.
Minimum one (1) year of experience with IIS and web-based technologies.
Experience in automating processes with Powershell.
Knowledge of incident management, SLAs, change management.
Highly developed organizational skills.
Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and problem resolution.
Assist in testing of solutions.
Fluency in English.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or natural sciences preferred.
