IT Security Analyst

TSD is looking to hire an IT Security Analyst, who will be part of the IT team of a US-based company in the financial industry.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The IT Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining and implementing best practices and high standards in terms of security in a dynamic technical environment. Common duties include handling of vulnerability scanning and tracking through the entire environment, weekly and monthly reporting on security status and handling of incoming security tickets. The position requires daily coordination with the team and the company CISO.

Job Role:

  • Conduct vulnerability scanning across the entire environment (Windows server/Azure).

  • Assess vulnerability severity and prioritize remediation.

  • Handling of incoming security tickets (Jira).

  • Security reporting on weekly and monthly basis.

  • AD management.

  • Implementation and maintenance of email security controls (O365).

  • Management of enterprise and public certificates.

  • Access and security administration of internal applications and company network.

  • Firewall management.

  • Develop documentation of systems, policies, and procedures. Establish problem resolution and communication procedures.

  • Works directly with internal IT teams to troubleshoot reported issues with the software or environments.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with Microsoft based environments (Windows Server 2008 or higher; MS Azure).

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with access management (AD).

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience with IIS and web-based technologies along with .NET based software.

  • Minimum one (1) year of security related experience (Penetration testing, Vulnerability scanning, Remediation).

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.

  • Experience in automating processes with PowerShell is a plus.

  • Knowledge of incident management, SLAs, change management

  • Highly developed organizational skills.

  • Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and problem resolution.

  • Assist in testing of solutions.

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
