System Administrator

LOCATION: TROYAN, SOFIA
DEPARTMENT: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
WORK STATUS: FULL-TIME

Summary of Responsibilities

TSD is looking to hire a mid-to-senior level System Administrator to help maintain and develop the company’s infrastructure, documentation, policies and procedures.

The primary focus of this position is to actively participate in all infrastructure-related projects as well as provide technical guidance to company employees regarding various integrated systems. Besides the hands-on technical tasks, the System Administrator needs to be able to properly document his work and help expand the existing in-house knowledge base.

Job Responsibilities

  • IT infrastructure project work.

  • Handling of incoming and existing ticket requests.

  • Supporting the existing infrastructure.

  • Supporting the company employees.

  • Troubleshooting system issues.

  • Incident and Change management.

  • In-depth research and root cause analysis.

  • Automation of repetitive and more complex tasks.

  • Monitoring and oversight of the company systems along with the development of new monitoring solutions where applicable.

  • Domain administration and GPO development.

  • Virtual infrastructure management.

  • Network administration.

  • Audit work, policy, and procedure development.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal in both Bulgarian and English languages.

  • Good documentation skills – ability to produce quality documents and updates to tasks.

  • Good understanding of Microsoft-based environments.

  • Good understanding of how software systems work.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the IT Field – System Administrator related background is a plus.

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with MS-based domains, Windows server (2008 and up) and desktop OS (XP, 7, 8, 10, 11), Microsoft products and practices.

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory and GPOs.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with MS Azure (AD, Roles, Infrastructure).

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with company networks, DNS, DHCP, etc.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, ESXi, Proxmox).

  • Experience with PowerShell or other CLIs.

  • Experience with hybrid infrastructure is a plus.

  • Experience with automation is a plus.

We are offering you:

  • 8-hour shifts on a monthly schedule within the 8:00 am to 8:00 pm timeframe.

  • Coverage during Saturdays and Holidays on a rotating basis as per a pre-defined monthly schedule.

  • The job may require traveling to the other offices of the company.
