DevOps Engineer

TSD is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer, who will be part of the Software Development team in the company.

Summary of Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Azure environment and infrastructure.

Job Role

  • Updating and revising the deployment pipelines using PowerShell scripts.
  • Collaboration with the rest of the team whenever a client issue or request arises, in order to provide timely and appropriate support.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation, in order to expand the team’s knowledge base.
  • Set up monitoring tools to detect potential issues on time and ensure that the platform hosted in the Azure development runs smoothly.
  • Add value to the team by bringing in new ideas and help improve the existing processes and pipelines.
  • Ability to research new information and solutions if the need arises.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure, cloud services and virtual servers.
  • Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
  • PowerShell scripting (Deployment automation).
  • Understanding of Agile work principles.

Good to have

  • Atlassian Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket.
  • Web Hosting/Management of certificates (e.g. GoDaddy).
  • Cloud monitoring systems (e.g. CloudMonix).
  • Microsoft Windows infrastructure
