The latest version of our application has brought along several great new billing and pricing options created to provide further power and flexibility to your billing process inside the eDiscovery platform.
Find out below what is worth checking out in MaxBilling 4.1.
New Pricing Options Based on the Workspace Storage Type
MaxBilling now provides you with the freedom to configure pricings based on the storage type of a workspace. It allows you to set separate prices according to the workspace storage type (Review, Repository, or Cold Storage) for each Case Rollup item in your billing Profile.
The prices are applied accordingly when a report is generated based on the storage type of each workspace. Additionally, in the Workspace breakdown in your billing reports, you can find information about the types of all workspaces you have charged for.
New Repository and Cold Storage Billing Options
Furthermore, MaxBilling now offers you the flexibility to specify how your billing reports should be shaped in terms of Repository and Cold Storage workspaces. You can select between two formulas for Repository workspaces which you can use to adjust the billable hosting size. A formula is available to be used for such purpose with Cold Storage workspaces as well. You easily set the formula in your Settings tab and then just go to your Profile to enable it.
You can choose between the following formulas for Repository workspaces:
- Publish Data File Size = Linked Total File Size + (Publish Data File Size – Linked Total File Size) / 3
- Publish Data File Size = Publish Data File Size – Linked Total Billable File Size
The following formula is applied for Cold Storage workspaces:
- Publish Data File Size = Publish Data File Size * Cold Storage Ratio
